Supply of 2 indigenous dairy cows / 2 crossbred dairy cows / 2 buffaloes to Scheduled Caste/ Neo-Buddhist beneficiaries
Nature of Scheme
To promote milk production in the rural areas of the state, supply of 2 indigenous dairy cows / 2 crossbred dairy cows / 2 buffaloes to Scheduled Caste/ Neo-Buddhist beneficiaries.
- Supply of 2 indigenous dairy cows, 2 crossbred dairy cows, and 2 buffaloes to the beneficiary at a subsidy of 75% of the cost per animal: Rs. 70,000 for cows and Rs. 80,000 for buffaloes.
- Insurance of the said animals will be provided for three years at the rate of 5.75% + 10.3%.
- Self-contribution of 25% will have to be raised by the beneficiary himself.
- Beneficiaries taking loans from banks/financial institutions (5% beneficiary share for SCs and 20% bank loan) will be given priority under this scheme.
Beneficiary:
Beneficiaries below the poverty line, Very small landholding farmers, Small landholding farmers, Educated unemployed (registered with Employment and Self-Employment Center), Women in self-help groups (A. No. 1 to 4) , 30% priority to women beneficiaries from No. 1 to 4, 30% priority to disabled beneficiaries from No. 1 to 4
Benefits:
Under this scheme, each beneficiary receives 2 indigenous or 2 crossbred milch cows or 2 buffaloes, with a 75% government subsidy for Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist individuals. The total cost of the cow group is 156850/-, out of which 75% of the government subsidy will be Rs. 117638/- and the remaining 25% beneficiary share will be Rs. 39213/-. The total cost of the buffalo group is 179258/-, out of which 75% of the government subsidy will be Rs. 134443/- and the remaining 25% beneficiary share will be Rs. 44814/-
How To Apply
Online mode on the portal www.ahmahabms.com. Online applications will be invited in the months of June and July. There will be a period of one month for accepting applications. Applications will not be accepted after this period.
