To provide training on animal husbandry to beneficiaries (Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhists) under the Special Component Scheme.
Objective of the Scheme:-
To provide training on animal husbandry to beneficiaries of Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhists
Nature of the Scheme:-
• The training class will be of three days’ duration.
• Up to Rs. 1000/- will be spent on one beneficiary for three days.
• Tea, breakfast, lunch Rs. 100/- per day, travel expenses (by ST/Railway ticket) Rs. 100/-, pen, notebook, printed technical information Rs. 100/-, audio-visual equipment (publicity, banners, charts), training meeting arrangement hall etc. Ancillary expenses Rs. 500/-
• Rs. 1000/- per beneficiary and the number of beneficiaries will be decided within the limits of the available provisions.
• Training will be conducted on animal husbandry field only; however, if it is not possible to conduct training on the field, it will be conducted at other places.
Beneficiary:
While selecting beneficiaries, preference will be given to selecting 30 percent female beneficiaries out of the total beneficiaries. While selecting beneficiaries, 03 percent of beneficiaries will be from the physically handicap category. While selecting beneficiaries, it will be mandatory to obtain a recommendation letter from the concerned Gram Panchayat. The implementation of the scheme will be done by the District Animal Husbandry Officer, Zilla Parishad. The application in the prescribed format from the eligible beneficiaries will be collected through the concerned veterinary institution and submitted to the District Animal Husbandry Officer, Zilla Parishad, by the livestock development Officer (Extension) Panchayat Samiti.
