Supply of goat groups to Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries under OTSP

Under this scheme, goat groups (10+1) are supplied to Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries at 75% government subsidy. The total cost of the group is Rs. 01,03,545/-, out of which 75% government subsidy amount is Rs. 77,659/- and the remaining 25% beneficiary share is Rs. 25,886/- to be paid by the beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries below poverty line, Very small landholding farmers, Small landholding farmers, Educated unemployed (registered with Employment and Self-Employment Center), Women in self-help groups (A. No. 1 to 4), 30% priority to women beneficiaries from No. 1 to 4, 30% priority to disabled beneficiaries from No. 1 to 4

Benefits:

10 female goats/sheep and 1 male goat/sheep unit, Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries- 75% subsidy. Goats of Osmanabadi/Sangamneri breed, Madgyal or Deccani sheep or other local, indigenous breeds.
