Under the State Level Innovative Scheme, supplementary income is provided to farmers through goat/sheep rearing in semi-intensive farming.

Group distribution of 10 female goats/sheep and 1 male goat/ram, 50 percent subsidy of the group price to beneficiaries in the general category and 75 percent subsidy of the group price to beneficiaries from Scheduled Castes and Tribes, Goats of Osmanabadi/Sangamneri breed as well as Madgyal or Deccani sheep or other local sheep groups are distributed.

Beneficiaries below the poverty line, Very small landholding farmers, Small landholding farmers, Educated unemployed (registered with Employment and Self-Employment Centre), Women in self-help groups (A. No. 1 to 4), 30% priority to female beneficiaries from No. 1 to 4, 30% priority to disabled beneficiaries from No. 1 to 4
